Hi, Nice to meet you.
I’ve worked in various, professional roles in the mental health field for over a decade. I have experience in working with children, teens, and adults. I work with individuals of all races, religions, socio-economic statuses, gender identities, sexual orientations, and creeds. Over my career, I’ve developed extensive skills and training in working with complex PTSD and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).
I am originally from the southernmost tip of Texas but Fort Worth is my home now. I am married and have 3 children. I’m a cinephile (I would’ve gone to film school in another life had I not pursued psychology) and love watching horror films, sci-fi, independent, art house, anime, and cerebral films. My musical interests skew towards progressive rock, psychedelic rock, punk rock, metal, hardcore, jazz, blues, funk, and underground hip hop. I also enjoy reading comics, graphic novels, and non-fiction books on history, mythology, and philosophy. My curiosity pulls me towards religions, spirituality, mysticism, shamanism, and the esoteric. My kids and I have fun when playing video games (zombie/post-apocalypse, survival horror, action-adventure RPG, brawl/melee, platformers) and building Legos together.
For the detail-oriented individuals interested in the technical aspects of my work, here’s my CV.
